Stop Motion: Chicken Car Crash Animation

Chicken Car Crash

By: Shelby Derck

For this animation I chose the “Two characters have a disagreement which ultimately destroys both of them.” The characters are two cars that meet on a street and have a conversation in which one makes fun of the others sound and the other retaliates by comparing the cars first noise to a duck. The argument ends with them playing chicken and crashing into each other. I did have Problems keeping the separate pieces from moving when giving the cars motion but the overall piece turned out well. I did have to duplicate the speaking bubble frames as they went bye to fast in the first to recordings and made it difficult to see. Using transparent paper for the cloud and dust clouds contrast the solid images makes a great effect for the end.
